Kids halloween parties games

The concept of this game is kind of like Jenga. The kid who knocks the grape down is the loser and has to dunk their face in the flour! Its not very nice. This game has the same concept as Apple Bobbing, but instead of water you use cream, and instead of apples you use gummy worms. For this game you will want to buy a lot of toilet rolls! Split the kids up into teams I suggest 4 or so. Turn the music on preferably Halloween music like Thriller, and the kids have to wrap their mummy one of the kids in toilet paper or crepe paper.

After a certain length of time, I suggest anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute 30, stop the music, and which ever mummy looks more mummified wins! I suggest turning off the lights to add an extra challenge to the game. This is always a fun game. Have all the kids come to the party in fancy dress, and hold a costume contest.

Have them either model their costume or take a photo of their scariest face, and print them out. Then, get the kids to vote on the scariest, funniest, best homemade etc.

Have some cool prizes to give out, and the kids will have a lot of fun! This is the same concept as any other treasure hunt, but with a Halloween spin on it. Print off lists of clues in different orders so not all the kids are looking for the same things at the same time. These clues will lead them to find pieces of a Halloween picture. You will have to print off these pictures a witch for example and cut them up like a jigsaw.

There will be a puzzle piece at every clue and the team or soloist who finds all the pieces and correctly makes the jigsaw first wins. If the kids are old enough then they could share scary stories. You could light some candles, and turn off the light to add spookiness. Have them use a flashlight to shine on their face when its their turn.

If you don't want the kids to get scared, you could add a funny twist to the stories so that they don't get afraid! Cut out some pictures of ghosts, and stick them on card so they aren't floppy. Hide the ghosts in a certain room, but make it so that part of the ghost is visible this makes it easier for the kids. Let all the kids into the room, and the person who finds the most ghosts wins and is the ultimate ghostbuster! For extra fun you could draw on the back of 2 or 3 ghosts and make them bonus ghosts.

If kids find these special ghosts then they win a prize! This game is like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, but with a twist. Get a picture of a witch, and stick it on a cork board or wall. Also, print out a picture of a big wart.

Attach a pin or blu tac for young kids to the big wart. Blindfold the kids, spin them around, point them in the right direction, and make them pin the wart on the witches nose. The closest one wins! This game is like the Zombie Edition of musical statues! When the music plays, the kids have to walk around the room pretending to be zombies and making zombie noises.

When the music stops they all have to freeze. Whoever has the closest guess or guesses the exact number of candy wins the WHOLE jar of yummy sweets. If your child is younger and just learning to count, maybe put in 10 to 20 pieces of candy. To practice writing skills, have your child write on the notecard their name and the number of candy they believe to be in the jar.

Put the note card into the shoebox to tally up who is the closest. Simply fill the bin with hay or shredded paper, hide the prizes, and let the kids stand around to dig for their Halloween treasure.

Takeaway tip: If you are looking for Halloween carnival games, this one is a huge hit! Hide the prizes in a stack of hay. Activity and Image By: Carnival Savers. This game is a great memory activity for kids of all ages to play. Takeaway Tip: Spice things up for the bingo winner by having a surprise handy like candy or a small Halloween game toy.

This is an entertaining opportunity for both kids and adults to show off their silly dance moves! The game continues until one kid is left. Get your child into the Halloween vibes by listening to this spooktacular song, Monster Mash…. If you are looking for traditional Halloween games or plan on entertaining outdoors, the ring toss may be an option for you. Plus, tossing rings is a fun activity no matter the size of your crowd.

Takeaway tip: The thicker the tossing ring, the easier it is for younger kids or those with mobility issues to grasp and hold onto the ring. I recommend this low-cost ring toss set which includes thicker inflatable rings along with inflatable targets. Once your child is blindfolded, have them stand on the line and then move forward to stick the eye on the monster.

Takeaway tip: Incorporate a sweet surprise or Halloween trinket for the winner. Stack your buckets on top of one another in a pyramid shape; 3 on the bottom, 2 in the middle, and 1 on top. Rather than stacking your buckets on top of one another, lay them on the ground in a pyramid shape; 3 in front, 2 in the middle, and 1 in the back.

Takeaway tip: You may get creative and substitute the Halloween buckets for large plastic cups, cans, or bowling pins. Using a squishy throwing ball is a safer alternative and easier to grasp than your traditional plastic ball.

Especially, if this game is played by younger kids, those who are sensory seeking or who have hand mobility challenges. If you found value in this information, please click the sidebar link to share it with someone else.
